La seconda edizione della Health&Care Summer School si svolge online con un nuovo format per insegnare come i processi di progettazione e le tecnologie di fabbricazione digitale possono innovare il settore sanitario producendo soluzioni efficaci per esigenze reali.

4 mattine per 4 corsi brevi dedicati a 4 processi di progettazione:

• Design parametrico per imparare ad adattare rapidamente gli oggetti sulla specificità dell’utente modificando misure e configurazioni
• Modellazione per la chirurgia per imparare a realizzare modelli di studio preoperatorio, per la realizzazione di protesi e guide a supporto delle operazioni
• Training kit per il personale medico per progettare il più facilmente possibile kit per le simulazioni delle operazioni
• Ortesi personalizzate per imparare a progettare maschere, apparecchi ortodontici, tutori o plantari personalizzati e confortevoli grazie alla scansione 3D e alla stampa 3D.

La Summer School è organizzata da OpenDot e si svolge online nel mese di Giugno.

E’ completamente gratuita in quanto fa parte del progetto DD – Distributed Design, finanziato dal programma europeo Creative Europe, per sviluppare e promuovere la connessione tra designer, makers e mercato globale.

The second edition of the Health&Care Summer School goes online with a new format to teach how design processes and digital fabrication technologies can innovate the healthcare field by producing effective solutions for real needs.

4 mornings for 4 short courses focused on 4 design processes:

• Parametric Design to learn how to quickly adapt objects to the specificity of the user by changing measures and configurations
• Modeling for surgery to learn how to realize preoperative study models, for the realization of prostheses and guides to support the operations
• Training kit for the medical staff to design as likely as possible kit for the simulations of the operations.
• Custom orthotics to learn how to design masks, braces, plasters or orthotics that are personalised and comfortable thanks to 3D scanning and 3D printing

The Summer School is organised by OpenDot and will take place in June.

It is completely free of charge, as it is part of the project DD – Distributed Design, funded by Creative Europe, to develop and promote the connection between designers, makers, and the global market.
